🏜️ Ecosystems: every landscape for your base
An ecosystem is the land your base stands on. It changes the ground, the hills and the mountains, what grows and what falls from the sky. The buildings, the rocket and the paths are the same in all of them, and it changes nothing in the game: it is how your base looks to you and to whoever visits it. Ecosystems belong to the Earth only: the base on the Moon has a landscape of its own (grey dust, craters and a black sky), whichever one you wear.
The ones you can find
| Ecosystem | Rarity | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Meadow | Common | Green grass and pine trees under a blue sky. Every base starts here. |
| Desert | Uncommon | Sand, cactus and reddish rocks, with ochre mountains behind. |
| Tropical coast | Uncommon | Pale sand, palm trees and the sea all around: the hills and mountains become islands. |
| Snowy tundra | Rare | Snow on the ground, snow-covered firs, white peaks and snowflakes falling. |
| Autumn forest | Rare | Ochre grass, orange, red and yellow trees, and leaves drifting down. |
There are 2 more, one epic and one legendary. The game keeps them secret until you find them: in the collection they are a “?”, and they are worth the wait.
How to get them
- Build the laboratory and raise it: each level opens one more rarity.
- Start a research, choose Ecosystems and the rarity you want.
- When it ends, you get one of that rarity you did not have. With only one or two per rarity, you know what you are playing for.
Times and prices are the same as for colours: see the guide to the laboratory.
How to change it
In the Collection tab, open Ecosystems and tap one you have. The base changes at once, and you can go back to another whenever you like. A base is always on one: there is no “none”.
💡 The light of the scene follows your local time, and some landscapes are at their best at a certain hour. Come back at night.
