🕛 The Rocket Crew clock: what changes at 00:00 UTC and the times of the game
So that everyone plays by the same rules, the game uses a single clock: the UTC day. It starts at 00:00 UTC all over the world. In the UK that is 01:00 in summer and 00:00 in winter, and in New York it is 20:00 in summer and 19:00 in winter.
What renews every day
| What | What happens at 00:00 UTC |
|---|---|
| Visits | Each person can count a visit on your base again |
| Daily reward | You can claim the one for the new day |
| Daily missions | New ones are drawn |
| Workers’ production | A new one is ready; the previous day’s, if you did not collect it, is lost |
| Test flights | You get the day’s back (three per level of the test pad) |
| Rewarded ads | You have your 5 ads again |
What runs on its own
- Works last what the table of each part and building says, and start when the worker arrives, 10 seconds later. They finish by themselves even if you are not there (the rocket).
- Researches in the laboratory last between 1 h and 48 h, depending on the rarity (the laboratory).
- Solar panels give coins every 3 hours and the oil well every 6 (the base).
- The trip to the Moon is scheduled with a local hour that is stored in UTC, lasts one day and is counted with the server’s clock, so that everyone sees the same scene (the trip to the Moon).
Tips to make the most of it
- If you play in the afternoon or evening in Europe or the Americas, the new day started hours ago: today’s production and visits are ready to collect.
- What counts for the daily reward is the UTC day, not your local day: you claim once per UTC day.
- The production notification on your phone waits for a comfortable hour in your time zone (notifications).
