⚠️ Common beginner mistakes in Rocket Crew and how to avoid them
Almost every player makes one of these mistakes in the first week. None is serious, but some cost coins you do not get back.
With coins
- Letting the hangar fill up. At the start 200 coins from visits fit and, with the hangar at the maximum, 3,200. When the hangar is full, new visits keep arriving but add nothing. Collect often and upgrade the hangar in time.
- Not collecting the workers’ production. It is collected once a day and only one day is kept: yesterday’s is lost if you do not collect it.
- Thinking test flights are a salary. On average you get back about 40 of every 50 coins. They are a fun bet, not a way to make money (test flights).
- Spending without looking at the cap. A part cannot go higher than the building that limits it. Before saving up for an upgrade, check that it is not blocked (the rocket).
With links and visits
- Visiting yourself. Your own visits do not give coins, not even from a private window.
- Sharing the wrong link. The link of your base gives coins per visit; the invitation link is for bringing workers. They are shared separately (how to share your base).
- Expecting visits from the same person on the same day. Each person counts once a day. To earn more you need different people, not to insist on the same ones.
With your account
- Not verifying your email. Without it you do not get the 50-coin reward and, if you were invited, you do not appear as a worker of whoever invited you (account and security).
- Using several accounts or tricks. It is against the terms of use, and what was obtained by cheating can be reset.
- Switching devices without thinking. The “Try without an account” mode saves nothing: if you like it, create an account before you start for real.
With time
- Leaving your worker without a work. Works finish by themselves, but the next one does not start without you. Before you stop playing, leave something long running.
- Scheduling the trip to the Moon in a hurry. Once chosen, the day and hour cannot be changed or cancelled (the trip to the Moon).
