🏗️ The launch base: every building and what it is for
The base is what lets the rocket grow. Each building has its own level and is built and upgraded with coins and a worker, like the parts. A new base starts with the launch pad, the hangar and the fuel at level 1.
The buildings
| Building | What it does | Asks for | First level | Levels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🛫 Launch pad | Sets the rocket's maximum total level | — | 30 | 4 |
| 🏭 Hangar | The fins cannot go above its level, and it holds the coins waiting to be collected | — | 20 | 5 |
| 🗼 Tower | The fuselage and the cockpit cannot go above its level | Launch pad lv. 2 | 40 | 5 |
| 🛢️ Fuel | Fuel depots with an oil well and a small refinery: the engine and the tank cannot go above its level, and the well gives coins every 6 hours. It does not store more, so it stops until you collect it | — | 40 | 5 |
| 🖥️ Control | Control center with its antenna and its observatory: every work takes less time | Tower lv. 3 | 120 | 5 |
| 🎟️ Visitors | Stands for the visitors: more coins per visit | 10 visits | 120 | 5 |
| 🔬 Laboratory | A free worker researches here and unlocks new looks: each level opens one more rarity | Hangar lv. 2 | 60 | 5 |
As with the parts, each level costs twice the one before and takes three times as long. The level of the base is the sum of the levels of these buildings.
Solar panels and oil well: coins every few hours
Two places of the base give coins every few hours. The solar panels are there from the start, at level 1, and fill up every 3 hours. The fuel have an oil well with its refinery and a tanker, and they are there from the start too, at level 1: it fills up every 6 hours, and it grows with the level of the depots (80 coins for the first upgrade). You collect each one from its sheet whenever you like: you get what it has made so far (half the cycle, half the coins) and the cycle starts again, so collecting early never loses anything. The coins go straight to your balance, no hangar needed. Nothing is stored beyond one cycle: once full, it stops until you collect it, so coming back often is what pays. The solar panels do not count towards the level of the base. Upgrading raises what each collection gives. And you can post a free worker at each one, with no time limit: while they are there, its cycle takes 50% less time (3 hours become 1.5, 6 become 3).
| Level | Solar panels | Fuel |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 | 30 |
| 2 | 18 | 45 |
| 3 | 27 | 68 |
| 4 | 41 | 101 |
| 5 | 61 | 152 |
A build order that works
- Launch pad to level 2. It unlocks the tower and the fuel building, and raises the cap of the rocket.
- Raise Tower and Fuel. Without them, four of the five parts stay at level 1.
- Hangar to level 2. It lets the fins grow and unlocks the laboratory.
- Hangar higher as soon as your visits fill the 200 coins of room you start with.
- Visitors’ stands when you reach the visits they ask for: every visit pays more from then on.
- Control center once the tower is at level 3: every work of the base gets shorter.
Extras: only for show
These change nothing in the game (no coins, no times, no levels) and do not count towards the level of the base. They are there to make your base yours, and visitors see them too. The test pad is the exception: it is what lets you make test flights.
| Extra | What it adds | Asks for | First level | Levels |

| 🚚 Vehicles | Tanker truck, crane and off-roader | Base lv. 10 + Fuel lv. 1 | 60 | 3 |
| 🚁 Helipad | A helipad with its helicopter, which ends up flying around the base | Base lv. 8 | 80 | 3 |
| 🧪 Test pad | A small pad with its tower and a test rocket, which ends up firing its engine | Base lv. 6 | 60 | 3 |

A base that is alive
- Your workers walk around the base with their name over their head. Up to 20 are drawn at once; the rest work and produce all the same.
- Each visit of the day is a person sitting in the stands. If you are looking when they arrive, you see them walk in along the road.
- The light follows your local time: at night the lamps come on and the workers carry a torch on their helmet.
- You can change the land around the base with the ecosystems you find.
